Testosterone injections are the most prevalent and optimal route of administration for men looking to optimize their hormone levels.  Injections are done twice per week or weekly and can be done in the clinic or self-administered at home.  While it might seem intimidating at first, a majority of men are able to inject themselves or have somebody at home that can assist them.  We are more than happy to perform injections in office for those who would prefer to do so.

Injectable testosterone results in a therapeutic dose of the hormone being introduced directly into the bloodstream immediately that increases testosterone levels for up to 2 weeks.  Some men might feel a slight decrease in energy towards the end of the week when doing one injection per week and this is easily avoided by doing two smaller doses per week.  We work with each patient to come up with an injection protocol that fits their schedule.

Based on every patient's symptoms, bloodwork and goals of treatment we will recommend various other medications or supplements to work alongside the testosterone.
